August begins this new series! Who are you when no one’s looking? What secret are you holding in that nobody will ever know? What’s the stuff you’ve tried to stuff way down deep but that still seems to linger somewhere right under your skin? We all have them. Or do they have us? Secrets.

Last Sunday/ Father’s Day 0

Jun19

Last Sunday we had our second highest attendance! Wow, GOD is still doing something huge in North Fort Smith. We had seven people come to the altar and a teenage boy accept JESUS! Can’t wait for next Sunday!

Sunday is Father’s Day…I’m looking for GOD to do something big like change lives and set people free! What are you expecting GOD to do on this Father’s Day.

Alright Sunday’s at Midland are amazing GOD is doing a work in this Church that is unbelievable .

We had a great Mother’s Day service and had two teenager’s accept Jesus as Lord.

This next Sunday we are having a baptism service “know of six so far taking that step”. It was only a couple weeks ago that we had thirteen! WOW!

What an honor it is to be a part of this move of GOD every week we are seeing new people join and make deeper commitments of faith.

Our Saturday outreach meal is continuing to grow we feed over 150 last week. And we gave out over 4000 after school snacks last Month. Still amazed that we get to be apart of GOD’S plan.

I can’t wait to see how he will continue’s to use his Church in North Fort Smith!

Biggest Loser 0

May2

In May I made the decision to raise money for the least of these. I’m challenging the Church to get people to pledge money based on every pound that I lose. Lets say that I’m going to lose 30 pounds and someone donates $1 a pound. They would end up giving the least of these a $30 gift that is tax deductible. My starting weight is 278 and I have until August 2nd, 2009 to lose as much as I can.

What kind of leader are you? 0

What kind of leader are you?

Are you a leader that has followers or a leader that leads leaders.

One problem we see in a lot of Churches and even Midland Heights, the Church I pastor, is that we are not teaching people how to lead leaders. Its amazing that a church can be in existence for over 100 years and yet there is not a process for raising up leaders. Oh ya we have people to lead small groups and people that will lead youth, kids, outreach and other such valuable ministries. But when will the Church begin teaching others how to teach.

This is something that we continue to seek to change, because to see any longterm effect from a church it has to raise leaders that can lead leaders.

We have two more Baptism for May-

We gave away the car and low and behold they won the car, how cool is that.

Sunday Morning & Night @ MH 0

Mar30

Man if you were there you are going to understand……if not you will just have to take my word.

1. Sunday morning was amazing we had two youth come and commit their lives to Jesus and are going to be baptised next Sunday! Plus had a lady come and redicicate here life and join the Church. Worship was off the charts just like every Sunday!

2. Sunday nights Lenten service was just as powerful…..the worship was way off the chart and we had our largest attendance for any Lenten service. We took in a good offering for shoal creek camp and I’m pumped about that! We had a meal after the service that was second to none…..ladies your the best……can we do that every Sunday night?

Lastly I have to say I’m already looking forward to next Sunday we are going to have a baptism service and as of today it looks like we will have 10 or so making the statement that they belong to Jesus public. How cool is that I’m so proud of each of you!
